What episode does Glenn die in The Walking Dead, and how?

From the very first episode, The Walking Dead established itself as a show where no character was safe. Fans quickly learned never to get too attached, because the writers would ruthlessly kill off even beloved main characters for the sake of emotional impact.

Glenn was one of the few remnants left of the original Atlanta band of survivors we were first introduced to, so his violent end came as a visceral gut punch.

Bridgerton season 3: Expected release date and the latest rumors

Before we get into it — Polin fans — breathe! Bridgerton season 3 has finished filming and the series is still a go. Unfortunately, the film is still stuck in post-production, and from what we assume, this stage is going to be delayed because of the WGA and SAG strikes.

Bridgerton seasons 1 and 2 quickly rose to fame, becoming one of the top 10 shows on Netflix. Naturally, it got renewed for a third season (and a fourth simultaneously), and the series wrapped up filming in March 2023.

I have high expectations for the Samsung Galaxy Ring

Opinion post by
Kaitlyn Cimino

Samsung officially confirmed an upcoming Samsung Galaxy Ring at its Unpacked event on January 17. The announcement arrived after a short promo video for Samsung Health featuring a Neanderthal representing our “ancient instincts.” At the end of the video, the character remarks on Samsung Health’s new AI tools and then asks, ” I wonder what will come next,” casually transitioning to what we now know to be the Ring’s unveiling. If you were looking closely, you would have realized the answer was literally written in the stars; the sun he admires is a ring-shaped eclipse rather than a full sun.

  • Google appears to have quietly launched its eSIM transfer tool which was announced at MWC 2023.
  • Users are discovering that they can now swap their eSIM from one Android phone to any other Android phone.
  • It appears the functionality is limited to T-Mobile eSIM profiles.

Every day, we move that much closer to the day when eSIMs completely replace physical SIM cards. In preparation for that future, Google appears to have quietly launched its eSIM transfer tool for Android.

According to Android Police, one of its readers who was setting up a Galaxy S24 Ultra noticed they were given the option to transfer their eSIM from their LG V60 ThinQ by scanning a QR code. The outlet was also able to get the pop-up to appear on the Pixel 8 Pro from the Galaxy S24 Ultra and vice versa.

  • Mozilla is reportedly working on tablet UI for Firefox.
  • Mozilla’s response to a user review suggested that the Firefox team was not currently working on tablet UI.
  • Tablet UI is not a high priority for the company, but it does have a prototype that’s available.

Last week, multiple outlets — including our own — reported that tablet UI won’t be coming to Firefox anytime soon. While tablet UI is still likely a ways away for the browser, it appears Mozilla has at least been working on it.

Before we go any further, let’s first explain the confusion surrounding the issue. Earlier this month, a Mozilla representative responded to a Google Play Store user review that complained about a lack of tablet UI. The company replied by stating the following:

From high-profile video games to museum exhibits, AI-generated images have started seeping into creative industries far and wide. This is all thanks to a slew of generative AI innovations that have enabled computers to create realistic-looking imagery. On the flip side, however, the practice has also attracted its fair share of controversy as it threatens creative jobs and artistic freedoms. Some also allege that such tools infringe on existing copyrighted works, making them unethical at best and potentially illegal. So what exactly is AI-generated art and how does it work? Let’s break it down.

  • The Pixel 8 Pro’s temperature sensor can finally measure human body temperature.
  • Google is calling it a medical-grade feature.
  • The update comes with the latest Pixel feature drop.

The Pixel 8 Pro’s temperature sensor has been nothing more than another Pixel gimmick. Until now, the sensor and Google’s accompanying Thermometer app were only capable of measuring object temperatures. Google made it very clear that it doesn’t work on humans because the company didn’t have the necessary FDA approvals. All that is changing today with the latest Pixel feature drop, the first one of the year for Pixel devices.

First Pixel Feature Drop of 2024 has arrived and here’s what’s included

  • Google is rolling out the first Pixel Feature Drop of the year.
  • Pixel phones will be getting new AI, health, and other features.
  • Google also announced a new Mint colorway for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.

Pixel phones are about to get some new handy features in the first Pixel Feature Drop of 2024. Some of the features will be exclusive to the Pixel 8 series, while others will be available to older Pixel devices as well. If you have a non-Google phone, it’s not uncommon for some features to find their way to other Android devices, but you’ll need to wait for that to happen.

On a slight tangent, Google also announced a new colorway that will be added to the Pixel 8 series lineup. The new color is called Mint and it’s available for order on the Google Store.

The Insider Threat: Can Employees Pose a Greater Risk than Hackers

In the ever-evolving landscape of cybersecurity, organizations face a multitude of threats that can compromise their sensitive data and operations. While external threats from hackers and cyber criminals are well-recognized, there’s an often-underestimated risk that originates from within – the insider threat. This article explores the potential dangers posed by employees and examines whether they can prove riskier than external hackers.

A. The Insider Threat: Internal security breaches can come from employees, contractors, or business partners who have inside information, either maliciously or inadvertently exploiting their access privileges. Unlike external threats, insiders are already within the trusted perimeter of an organization, making them potentially more difficult to detect and mitigate.

1. Malicious Intent: Employees with malicious intent can pose a significant risk to an organization. Whether driven by personal grievances, financial gain, or ideology, insiders may purposefully compromise data integrity, leak sensitive information, or sabotage systems. Unlike external hackers who must bypass security measures, insiders often possess the knowledge to navigate these defenses.

2. Unintentional Risks: Not all insider threats stem from malicious intent; unintentional actions by employees can also lead to security vulnerabilities. Accidental data leaks, sharing sensitive information without proper authorization, or falling victim to phishing attacks can all result in compromises to an organization’s security.

3. Insider Knowledge: One distinguishing factor that makes employees potentially riskier than hackers is their in-depth knowledge of an organization’s systems, processes, and security protocols. This insider knowledge can be leveraged to bypass traditional security measures, making it challenging for organizations to stay one step ahead of potential threats.

4. Difficulties in Detection: Detecting insider threats can be more challenging than identifying external attacks. While organizations deploy advanced cybersecurity tools to monitor and respond to external threats, internal actors may fly under the radar, making it crucial for companies to invest in comprehensive monitoring and behavioral analytics.

B. Mitigating Insider Threats: To address the risks associated with insider threats, organizations must implement a multifaceted approach:

1. Employee Education: Provide comprehensive training to employees regarding security best practices, the potential risks of insider threats, and the importance of adhering to company policies.

2. Access Controls: Implement strict access controls to limit the permissions granted to employees. Regularly review and update access privileges based on job roles and responsibilities.

3. Behavioral Analytics: Utilize advanced analytics tools to monitor and analyze employee behavior, identifying anomalies that may indicate potential insider threats.

4. Incident Response Plan: Develop and regularly update an incident response plan that specifically addresses insider threats. Ensure that the plan includes steps for investigation, containment, and mitigation of such incidents.

Conclusion

While external hackers remain a significant threat, organizations should not underestimate the potential risks posed by their own employees. The insider threat, whether intentional or unintentional, can have severe consequences for data security and business continuity. A comprehensive cybersecurity strategy that encompasses employee education, access controls, behavioral analytics, and a robust incident response plan is essential for mitigating the risks associated with insider threats. By recognizing and addressing these challenges, organizations can create a more resilient defense against both external and internal threats.
